Terms of Service

Last updated 10 August 2026

These terms apply when you use TICKETRAX (“the platform”), operated by TICKETRAX by NETRAX. By creating an account, hosting an event or buying a ticket, you agree to them.

Who does what

The platform is a tool for hosts to publish events and sell tickets, and for buyers to purchase them. Each event is run by the host who created it, not by us.

This matters: your contract for attending the event itself is with that host. We provide the ticketing, collect the payment and issue the ticket. We do not organise, supervise or vouch for any event listed here, and we are not responsible for how a host runs one.

Your contract for the ticket sale is with us, because we take the payment. Nothing in these terms limits the consumer guarantees you have against us under the Australian Consumer Law in relation to that sale.

Accounts

Hosting an event

As a host you are responsible for:

You may not use the platform for events that are illegal, hateful, misleading, or that you have no right to run. We can unpublish an event that does, and will tell you why.

Buying a ticket

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Your ticket is issued once Stripe confirms the payment, not before.

Ticket money is collected by TICKETRAX by NETRAX as agent for the host, into our payment account, and passed on to them. Because we hold the funds, any refund owed to you is issued by us rather than by the host directly, and you should contact support@netrax.co if a host has agreed to a refund you have not received.

Refunds and cancellations

Tickets are non-refundable for change of mind or inability to attend. Refunds or other remedies are available where required by Australian Consumer Law, including for cancelled events.

The no‑refund rule above covers change of mind only. It does not, and cannot, remove the consumer guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law — including where an event is cancelled, is materially different from how it was described, or is not delivered with due care and skill. Those rights apply regardless of what this document says.

Availability

We work to keep the platform running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or withdraw features.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for what happens at an event, for a host’s acts or omissions, or for indirect losses. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to resupplying the service or refunding what you paid us for it.

Ending it

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Orders and tickets already issued are kept for records and tax purposes.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new date, and continuing to use the platform means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
